I just got myself a Quinny Buzz 4 Travel System for my nine-month old, and I haven’t seen what it can do yet. Now, I am a light girl, so I am a little worried about it being too heavy and immobile. Run of the Mill Stuff
Well, lets get the easy stuff out of the way. The stroller is very maneuverable, but it is as heavy as I thought it would be. Then again, I wouldn’t mind this doubling as my daily workout, so I suppose that’s a plus. And when I say it’s heavy, I mean that it weighs a little more than some of its competition like the Britax but it’s certainly not unmanageable.
The wheels on the Quinny Buzz 4 Travel System are 12 inches in diameter in the back, and about four in the front. It has a nylon composite canopy with a peek window for me to look in. Also, the child is secured by a bumper bar and a comfy five-point harness. This might be a little difficult to strap in if my little one is squirming, but for what it’s worth, I would keep the harness.
The Good Stuff
The Quinny Buzz 4 Travel System sports a bunch of different ways for the baby to travel. First, the little one can rock around with his or her legs up or down. Next, the seat can recline all the way back, about 90 degrees, and then all the way up. Then, the seat can actually detach and turn around to face me. This has two different settings of either lying down or reclining. I love it that I can watch my baby while we’re walking. All of these travel options sure to do help keep a mom’s mind at ease.
Now here’s something that’s not the upmost of importance but sure is fun for us mom’s. The travel system comes in 5 different colors for us to choose from. It comes in basic black and brown, along with an electric blue and a pretty red. It also has what they call the curious colors scheme. This is a black stroller with a multi-colored “futuristic” design on the insides of the sun visors and they seat itself. It’s just something that’s a little bit of fun for us girls.
